I spend all of my time trying to figure out ways to make your experience with
BuyYourFriendADrink.com as easy and enjoyable as possible.

My favorite drink: Depends on the mood. I love a cold beer on a Friday afternoon or when I am at a game. When going out on a Saturday night, I will order either a bourbon on the rocks (I know..I know, a good bourbon should be served neat) or a vodka and soda. Every now and then I’ll order a Bloody Mary.
How I came up with the idea:
In June of 2005, I graduated from business school. As is very common with these
life events, a lot of my friends went their separate ways after graduation. I
moved to New Jersey and one of my closest friends moved to Texas. On a Fall
afternoon, my Texas friend and I had a phone conversation where we discussed
“the good old days” and how we used to enjoy grabbing a beer on a Friday afternoon.
He also told me about some exciting news that he had at work. After I hung up the
phone, I was left with an overwhelming desire to buy him a beer and celebrate his good news.
And that is when the idea hit me…while it would be better if I could enjoy the beer
with him…BuyYourFriendADrink.com is the next best thing.
After 25-years in marketing and advertising for both large multi-national
agencies and early stage high-tech companies, I joined Steven, James, Beth
Ann and others in this business venture as it was a "Why didn't anyone think
of this before?" type idea.
Buying someone a round is an age-old tradition that we are simply taking to the next level by capitalizing on the latest technology and an unbelievable network of popular bars and restaurants that have partnered with us. The feedback both from drink buyers and receivers, as well as independent bloggers, has been outstanding so far, and this is helping spread the word about us. CNBC, among other new outlets, has even picked up our story with enthusiasm.
My job as chief marketer is to keep spreading the news of this cool service to more people, listening to our customers, and delivering a service that makes you happy in both the giving and receiving!

my friends across the country was perfect after recently graduating from Clark University.
There is nothing I love more than being involved with a fun, innovative idea; so

Trying not to follow suit – I too love a gin and tonic to relax and enjoy the moment, but nothing beats an ice cold draft beer. Sometimes I’ll ask the bartender to make me their best drink, and I’m a huge fan of trying local brews whenever I travel.

My favorite drink: When I'm out, a Vodka soda with a splash of cran and two limes. And Tequila shots - to add to the fun. In general, I like white beers and enjoy homemade frozen margaritas on lazy Sunday afternoons.
